Rochford Beer Festival @ Meet at the rear of Marks & Spencer

Join us for a visit to the Rochford Beer and Cider Festival where we can sample a wide variety of beers and ciders. There is also food available.

The event takes place in the Freight House in Rochford.

Sunday Birthday Lunch @ Oyster Court Sports Bar

Join us to celebrate with those members who have a birthday in both November and December at the Oyster Court Sports Bar where you have a pre-booked choice of chicken, lamb or beef.

Lunch is booked for 1.00pm for those who don’t want to walk.

Before lunch (weather permitting) we will have a walk along the pier. I will send out a text/facebook message at 8.00am to confirm where the walk is on or not.

Join us to celebrate with those members who have a birthday in January at the Toby Carvery.  Weather permitting we will meet at the top of Pier Hill and walk down to Thorpe Bay. I will send out a text/facebook message at 8.00am to confirm where the walk is on or not.

Come and join us to see Calamity Jane – probably the best-loved —and maybe the greatest— of Doris Day’s many great musicals. With Howard Keel as ‘Wild Bill’ Hickok and a strong supporting cast including Allyn McLerie. Hits include ‘The Deadwood Stage’ ‘Just got In from the Windy City’ and ‘Secret Love’.

The event takes place at the Jazz Centre UK, Beecroft Museum, Southend and starts at 12.00pm until 2.00pm.

We can walk from M&S to the Beecroft which is by Southend Victoria.

Trip to the National Portrait Gallery @ Meet at Southend Victoria

This month we are visiting the National Portrait Gallery home to the most extensive collection of portraits in the world.  Entrance into the Gallery is free unless you want to visit one of the temporary exhibitions.
